And here’s the official press release – Kris Allen – 19 Recordings Has Signed the American Idol Season 8 Winner and Has Licensed to Jive Records

…. Well, based on the Mediabase Add Board for his single “No Boundaries”. His official web page still has the RCA logo though, so what do I know?

ETA : Billboard IS showing Kris’ No Boundaries as JLG and Adam’s No Boundaries as 19/RCA. For some strange reason, Adam is charting on the Canadian charts.

Adam Lambert taped his appearance for the CBS Early Show this morning (which will be aired on Thursday). Some fans braved the cold, and voila – video!

(thanks to intimations for sharing!)

- He sounds so good, even with the crappy sound system. I do hope that he’ll be singing another song when he guests elsewhere – I’m getting pretty tired of Mad World at this point. (Not his fault – my fault for playing it over and over on my iPod.)

Wow – he looks so much younger (and thinner!) – hey, I’m not knocking him but it’s pretty obvious. But still as confident and interview-ready.

I love what the producer said about Adam – he’s fab but still down-to-earth And yeah – “You feel cool next to him.”

Wish there was video also – since Adam was playing the character of a drag queen here. Would’ve been interesting to see him singing in drag – he’s pretty sexy as a woman if you ask me.

Q: How much sleep have you gotten since winning American idol? How many interviews? And how many photos?

KA: I got about 6 hours of sleep last night and 2 the night before. There is no telling about the interviews, maybe 100. Plenty of picture taking, on the red carpet you really have no idea of the number.
